Peter Watson is an English landscape photographer whose career started in his teenage years when he photographed and produced his own black & white prints in an improvised darkroom. They were sold in a local gallery and this early success encouraged him to pursue a career as a photographer. He studied photography and graphic design and in 1993 obtained a diploma in photography from the New York Institute of Photography.
Peter specialises in the creation of unique and very beautiful landscape and abstract photographs. His work has been critically acclaimed and is widely published both in the UK and internationally. His work also appears in galleries and exhibitions. He lectures and tutors workshops and is the author of several books including 'Landscape Gallery', 'Light in the Landscape -a photographer's year', 'Seasons of Landscape', 'The Welsh Coast' and 'Views Across the Landscape'.
